Ive been on the big 3, seems like Im starting to lose more hair. So I wanted to add Tricomin, but dont know how I can get it into the rotation with the minoxidil. I was thinking of...

1.) Minoxidil 5% morning, Tricomin evening
2.) Minoxidil 5% morning, mid-afternoon, Tricomin evening
3.) Minoxidil 5% morning, Trocomin mid-afteroon, Minoxidil evening.

How bad does the Tricomin mess up your hair? And can it be applied before/after minoxidil? I mean can you apply it, wait an hour then put on the minoxidil, or should several hours pass like I have alloted for above?

You can apply a quick drying Minoxidil Like Dr.Lee's, wait 5-10 minutes, then apply Tricomin. It dries quick in like 10 minutes. What i do is apply this topical anti-androgen called RU after my monring shower, then i eat breakfast and when 30 minutes passes i apply Xandrox 5 with Retin-A, brush my teeth, then apply Tricomin. You can safely do this, and in about 10 minutes everything is dry and no residue left on my hair. Just make sure you rub the tricomin in good, dont use the sprayer, apply with a dabber.

Ive heard that RU is a b**ch, it goes bad in 2-3 days even in the fridge. Are you mixing your own every few days?

This is what I do:

Morning - daily rotation shampoo with NANO, 2% Nizoral, Jason's Thin to Thick. On the days that I use the NANO and Nizoral I actually pre-shampoo with Tricomin lather & rinse and then lather in the NANO, or Nizoral and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing. I use the Tricomin conditioner after the NANO and Nizoral and Jason's T to T conditioner after his shampoo.

I towel dry my hair, then shoot on some American Crew spray, comb my hair and allow to dry. I then apply 1 ml of 5% Minoxidil (Rogaine unscented) with a dropper - .5 ml distributed to each top half of my scalp. I don't really feel the need to rub it in, as I have read that it will penetrate the scalp better than rubbing it and getting it all over your hair.

I take 1 mg. of Finpecia each day - usually around lunch.

In the evenings I apply 1 ml of Minoxidil in the same manner as in the morning, wait about 20-30 minutes, then apply 1 ml. of Tricomin with a dropper identical to the method of Minoxidil application.

As I mentioned in another thread, I have actually started mixing in some NANO shampoo with Tricomin shampoo on my "NANO day" to minimize the shedding effect of the NANO and that seems to be working. I don't know if that is reducing the beneficial effect of either the NANO shampoo, or Tricomin shampoo by dilution, but those are supplemental treatments anyway.

I am not really balding in the classical sense, but diffuse thinning that is becoming more noticeable as I get older. This regimen seems to all be working for me.

Good luck to all. :)

So in the morning you do Tricomen first, then in the evening you do it 2nd? Sounds like a good plan. I need to get some quick drying minoxidil because mine takes a couple hours to dry.

I also have diffuse thinning, and about a Norwood 2.5

Thinning, RU absolutely doesnt go bad in 2 days. I know a few reliable posters and one guy that lives near me who has maintained/thickened their hair with RU and no internal drugs. You mix enough to last you 1 month. The company is now making a fresh batch every month and i get a fresh batch every 2 months since i split my order with the guy who lives near me. I dont know where you heard that 2 day thing, but people give a lot of wrong info on these forums.

Wow, Stax, RU48612... (whatever!) ...I'm impressed!

I'm curious about this stuff, it's supposedly so damn powerful.

How do you know there are no side effects? I'm pretty sure it never would have been clinically tested, right?

Anyway, if you could point me in the direction of the data surrounding it, that'd be great :) If it's as good as it's hyped up to be, we should get this stuff out there, it'd make a difference!

Hey Felk, actually it was clinically tested in phase 2 i think or its going through phase 2 right now. I'll try to find the study when i get some time. Basically it did as good as propecia but in half the time, on humans! It works locally to no side effects, i've been on it for over 1 week and i can confirm that. There's a lot of mixed feelings on RU but the truth is not that many people have used it, and a lot dont manage it properly since it can spoil easily. But like i said i know some reliable people using it with results and no internal drugs. I'll try to dig up that info.

Fellas,

Can anyone elaborate on this RU? I've never heard of it, and searching doesn't prove to be valuable. Sounds like something very impressive and I'm surprised it hasn't come up more often.

Nevermind. I found it in another thread referred to as RU58841. I was able to find more information about it.
