How to cut Proscar into 6th's?

1. Cut pill into two halves
2. Cut each half into 3 pieces
3. You have 6 pieces of proscar!

I'd probably use a razor blade.

Use a knife to cut the pill directly in half then use a razor blade to try and cut those halves into equal thirds.

This is what I do but I take it a step further and cut each of those thirds in half giving me 12 pill fragments altogether. That gives me a dose of .425mg I believe... Enough for me and let's me get the most outta my proscar.

It is difficult to cut a proscar tablet into more than four equall peices, if you are trying to split a proscar tablet, into six peices, the most efficient way to do this, is to crush the tablet into a fine powder, and encapsulate it, into, empty gel capsules.A digital scale can be used to inshure that equall doses are acheived, but this is a hassle, why not just take a 1.25 dose instead?
