Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating)

Has anyone on here ever had any issues with an increased level of perspiration when taking things to reduce androgen levels, either DHT or Testosterone?

I'm currently on low dose spironolactone and I'm finding it's causing me to break out in awful sweats where I wouldn't normally sweat. One of the symptoms of low testosterone levels is hot flashes and sweating so it may be connected!

spironolactone is a diuretic so no wonder you are sweating more.

I thought the diuretic effect of spironolactone would mean that I'd be urinating more rather than sweating? If anything due to the fact I'm supposed to be losing more water through urination I'd have thought sweating would have decreased a little.

Don't get me wrong I was quite sweaty before, but spironolactone seems to make it worse. I wonder if it's due to the fact it blocks testosterone and induces symptoms of low testosterone levels.
