I Am Getting This Strange Message When I Try To Log Into The Forum

Not sure what to make of this, I can still get in by clicking Go on to the webpage next to the "(Not Recommended)" message.
Is this anything to be concerned about?

I think everyone has had the same message. I assumed for a few weeks that the site had collapsed. I don’t know whether it means the owner has stopped supporting it.

Given you are posting under a nick and no money or secret information is changing hands, I can’t see that there is much risk to continuing to post. I am willing to take the risk anyway.

In the event that the forum does collapse eventually, are there other similar alternatives out there. I have visited a couple of forums but this one is by far the best and also receives the most traffic.

Agreed; it would be a shame if this one folded, but I have no idea who owns or manages it, or how we can influence the outcome.

I was about to ask. I abstained from the site for a few days on account of it, but given I switched to Poly Perimeter over French Lace, and began using White Glue, and I needed to get on the forum.

It seems fewer people have been posting since...

If that happens, it would be very sad to see this great community disappear. I really miss the old HairDirect forum which they shut down last year. Many reliable posted and information wiped off forever from HD forum. I really hope GourmetStyleWellness not going to shut down the forum.

Agreed, and unfortunately the traffic has sure died down since the message. Google will be labelling everything that's not encrypted "unsafe". Apparently that's 2/3 of the web.
