So I'm fat diabetes run in my family would reversing diabetes or keeping it under control stop further hair loss? I'm not diagnosed yet but I think it's easy to conclude that I'm borderline.

I wouldn't say i'm an expert on the subject, so if anything I say is incorrect, feel free to call me out.

I don't think anything really gives you male pattern baldness or causes it. It's genetic. Perhaps things like stress or maybe even diabetes can cause an early onset or exacerbate the process but whether that's the case or not at some point you would have started to recede/bald.

When you say you're not diagnosed do you mean you haven't been diagnosed with diabetes or haven't been diagnose with male pattern baldness?

Pretty much this, male pattern baldness is the genetic middle finger passed on by dads everywhere to there sons. I find it extremely insulting how a bald person can be looked down upon for simply being bald, as if that person did something 'wrong' and they had some control over it. Doesn't matter how healthy you, if you have aggressive male pattern baldness say goodbye to your hair. I don't think there is any link or correlation to male pattern baldness when it comes to a persons lifestyles choices, sure a poor diet will lead to less healthy hair and somehow more shedding, of course your hair is going to look worse. Remember male pattern baldness isn't the only thing that causes hair loss, two totally separate things are causing hair loss. male pattern baldness is all hormones.

why don't you reverse diabetes and lose weight because it's significantly better for your long term health and quality of life and not because of your hair
