and soo it begins, im crazy nervous about side effects etc. etc.

but i took my first Finpecia pill today(inhouse)

and i will start nizoral 2% too,

im also taking vitamin supplements

Biotin b12
Msm
Zinc

i will update as i go along.

FEB 8 Update!!
im on finasteride for around 170 days, added rogaine foam 2 weeks ago once a day,

so far still no regrowth, although Definitely slowed down the hairloss,

Yup. You'll likely experiece NO side effects. If you do experience anything just ask in here for any advice or whatever.

so its been 10 days of taking finasteride,so far i dont notice any side effects,at all.

although the last 3 days im nauseous in the morning only,probably not connected...

quick question i used nizoral 2% once,and after my shower, i thought i saw more hairs than usual while brushing, could nizoral cause hair to fall out just by using it?

The nauseous is normal. When I took propecia for the first 2 weeks, I felt a bit clumsy and sensitive to light. After that, I was fine. 9 years on, I still have my hair but slight receding on the temples.

If propecia came out even earlier, I might still have my temple hair line.

i Definitely see some hairs by my hairline,ill try to pot pics,

but maybe its from something else,

I saw tiny vellus hair within a few weeks too, I was sure I was imagining it until I could see that it just kept growing and growing.

While it appears to be uncommon to get results that quickly, it does seem to happen that fast for some people.

I don't even know how it's possible to be honest; as for the hair to show in that short time frame, the Finasteride would need to start working almost from day 1, yet I seemed to experience it myself so all I can say is "Grats"

i too saw regrowth within 2 weeks on finasteride alone, thick terminal hairs too. unfortunately the rate of regrowth never really took off, like you'd expect from such a promising start.

It seems to me my loss has finally started to slow the past month (I've been on finasteride for almost 4 months), I saw a lot of tiny vellus blonde hairs on my right temple start popping up and it seems a couple nearer the hairline have started to grow. I have some on my left hairline but not as many and none that are "terminal" yet.

I am hoping for more regrowth. My hair isn't really that bad if things will turn around with finasteride, I won't have to use minoxidil.

The center of my hairline is minituarized a lot though so I'm considering adding minoxidil for that, no tiny vellus hairs around it yet.

I got to the point where I looked in the mirror and proclaimed "I dont have hairloss anymore!!!"

This took about 5-7 months.

I had to cut the dosage down, and too a few weeks off the drugs, but right now I have some mild temple recession, that is growing in at a slower rate than my original dose(.5 down to .25)

its 30days on finasteride,

no side effects,

i noticed shedding more than usual,but i think its from the nizoral, not finasteride, is that possible?
