If Your Dad Is Bald Then Tough Luck

I really don’t believe in the whole ‘baldness is from mother’s side’ statement that I see so often.

Pretty much every guy I know that has his hair, I see that their fathers also have great hair.

What do people think?

I dont think so. I know 2 guys (they are brothers) one is 28 and completely bald, other one is around 24 i think and is thinning quite bad. Their father is 55+ with a thick norwood 2.
Another guy I know is aged 37 with perfect hair, and his father has been bald as long as i can remember. And this guys brother is 33 i think with good hair as well.

My dad was pretty thin at 64. I'm thinning, but not too bad. My older brother is 60 and a Norwood 0. My younger brother is a Norwood 4. Go figure how three bros can all be so different.

I am nw2 diffuse and thinning in a pattern like my father. I thing AR gene is switch we get from mother and when it gets on we loose hair like speed like father.
