I just want to keep everyone updated on my situation. I am a NW1.5 with a little thinning at the crown and 24 years old. My thinning became noticable about 2 years ago and said to myself I better do something now.

I got my folligen two days ago and I have used that the last two nights. I like it thus far and has this cooling sensation on my scalp. Smells ok too.

Been on Nizoral for a month now and that totally helps with the inflammation. My hair feels thicker and it seems as if I have little or no hair fallout the last 5 days. Just could be my imagination.

The finpecia just arrived now, so tonight will be my first night on it. I ordered it straight from this site.

I will update my situation every month. Good luck to all, stay positive and keep fighting the battle. :2gunsfiring_v1:

I am now officialy one month in. My regime consists of only Finpecia at the moment since my balding is not THAT bad...yet. Have not noticed a shed yet, but my hair loss does seem more frequent. I'll keep y'all posted if anything changes. Otherwise, look to my 2 month update.

BTW - finpecia, is that some form of generic finasteride?

Update time. I am posting this a couple days ahead of time as I will be out of town this weekend. Plus, I missed two days this month b/c of partying all night and forgetting to take the finasteride.

I am continuing to use finasteride, nizoral and folligen. 2 months in this regimen now and I am definitely going through a shed. Hair is falling out everywhere. I caught my hairloss early so I still look youthful and all that good stuff, but the shed does weigh on the back of my mind. No side effects to report, just shedding, alhtough you can't tell unless you are me. Will post again in a month.

I'm now about 3.5 months in. Hair loss seems to have completely stoped. I'm not shedding and I'm not seeing any regrowth. No hairs in the shower or on the pillow. No side effects to report. Things seem to be going smoothly. Now if I can just some regrowth I'll be thrilled.

I think I am 4 months in now, but could be wrong. I'd have to refer to my previous posts. Anyway, things are going well. I continue to use folligen, finpecia, and nizoral. Had a slight shed over labor day weekend, but thats probably b/c I didn't take the finasteride for like 3 days straight and I was partying non stop while in Vegas. No problems to report, although I do feel a bit more lazy since taking finasteride. Could just be my imagination. All seems well. Hair loss has stopped from what I can tell. Still no regrowth.

Almost at 6 months and time is just flying by. The last three weeks hair has begun to fallout. The inflamation is really bad and when I touch or rub my crown area, hairs are always on my fingers. Hadn't been using Folligen at all and just started up on it again b/c the inflamation was horrible. When I did this it seemed like hairs were falling out all over the place. Not sure if its related. All in all, things not looking good. Hopefully next months report will be better. Up until the point everything was going smoothly.

Its been a long time since I updated. I switched to propecia (ordered from http://www.propeciaforless.com) around the 1 year mark from my original post. This May will be my 3 year mark (2 with procecia) and while I haven't regrown any hair, the loss slowed a bit. My crown is slowly but surely losing hair. I have no pictures but look in the mirror regularly and more scalp is definitely showing. The inflamation over the last six months has been really bad, so I started mixing tgel/tsal/nizoral on a weekly rotation and it seems better. Also threw in some folligen to help and while I like that product it seems to make me shed. I just turned 27 and still have a full set of hair, but the crown is my kryptonite. It will eventually go. I'm just hoping I can hold off long enough until some technology advances occur. Otherwise I might have to go the hair transplant route or switch to something stronger like advodart.
