"When the FUE technique began being implemented about 10 years ago, most surgeons believed that a maximum of only 1000 to 2000 grafts could be extracted. This was true for a while. But now, it is unexceptional to see a practice where surgery of 10.000 grafts has been performed on a single patient over several surgical sessions."
Is 10,000 grafts something that most people safely have in the donor zone? I thought it was around 6,000 tops.
