Is anyone using Haircontact?

Is anyone using Haircontact? These are mass produced pieces made in Japan I think that's supposed to be the new superthin strong bases.

I remember seeing it on tv on the Beyond Tomorrow show on the science channel. They said it cost $125 and should be replaced every 2 weeks.

Maybe they will last longer than 2 weeks but I don't know anyone who's tried them.
