is it a wise idea to apply minioxidol 5% to the frontal hair

hi i'v just got my 6 months supply of minioxidol 5% extra strength and today i applied it to my hairline i noticed 10 hair follicles in total today come off the front area, i have very little hair at the front so i dont want to mess it up even more should i carry on applying it to my hairline or should i stop i'v only been on the damn thing for about A day, i want to grow enough hair so my temples are sufficiently covered is it a bad idea to apply minioxidol to the hairline
if i apply minioxidol to my hair for a month and i decide to go off how bad are the repercussions?
