Is it ok to Put spironolactone in Head and Shoulders??

There was some discussion here recently about shampoo's, citing some study which compared ketoconazole (Nizoral), Piroctone Olamine, and Head & Shoulders.
The general upshot of it being that H&S leads to thinner hair in the long term, compared to the other 2.

The effect on the mean hair shaft diameter was contrasted between the three groups of volunteers (KTZ: 5.4%, PTO: 7.7%, ZPT: -2.2%)
In addition, the data show that 1% KTZ and 1% PTO, but not 1% ZPT, produce a beneficial effect on scalp seborrhoea and hair shaft diameter.
And to think I've been using H&S for years. Not any more.
