I am getting a hair transplant to restore my hairline and part of the plan is to use a combination of treatments to restore some thinner areas that arent compeltely bald yet and stop future loss from the non-transplantes areas.
I am doing 4 PRP treatments the first year and maybe 2 a year for maintenance, minoxidil & saw palmetto/biotin shampoo, hair laser treatment, and taking ecklonia cava pills (this stuff was something i found online and i figured that its only algae extract so it cant hurt to take it).
I know the chances of side effects with finasteride is low but I am not willing to risk it. It jist doesn't seem like it could be good for the body to have your hormones messed with like that.
Am i still going to see results long term or is it pointless without the finasteride?
Also has anyone tried or heard anything on ecklonia cava?
