Gentlemen, I'm very glad I found this forum, because I need some advice. I started noticing my hair was thinning a bit, roughly a month ago. I thought I would be proactive so I started using the foam. It's been a few weeks and I am noticing anywhere from 15-30 hairs in my hands every shower and another 10-15 when I towel off...now prior to August I never would have more than 5. Am I doing more harm than good? My thinning wasn't really noticible to anyone but me prior to minoxidil and now I feel it is becoming tough to cover up. Should I stop? Is it worth it? Please advise, I'm making myself sick over this.

Im not sure i would ever advocate someone with minor hairloss to make the lifetime committment to minoxidil

however, going off it is another thing. i was on it for 2 years or so and then decided to go off it. it did't seem to be doing any good. however, since going off it ive had the worst shed of my life. one way or another the hairs become very realiant on this stuff.

if its shed you sometimes thats a indicator you are going to get good results - give it 3 to 6 months

Would you ever advocate someone to make a lifetime committment to Propecia? How about a lifetime committment to Nizoral shampoo? How about a lifetime coimmittment to Tricomin? How about a lifetime committment to Folligen? How about a lifetime committment to Prox-N? How about a lifetime committment to Proxiphen? How about a lifetime committment to Avodart? How about a lifetime committment to NANO shampoo? How about a lifetime committment to any other hairloss treatment you ever see being discussed on this forum?
