I don't know what has happened but the state of my scalp has deteriorated during the past 3 months. Whenever I apply Tricomin spray or minoxidil foam, the solution seems to stay on my scalp and becomes like a shiny layer. It dries but seem there are noticable traces of where the solution was applied.
The top part of my scalp definitely seems dry compared to other parts like the temples and sides.
Did I dry out my scalp from excessive shampooing with Nizoral 1% and a concotion of other topicals such as minoxidil, Tricomin, Sprio cream. Or is the drying effect a result of male pattern baldness where the follicles are closed up therefore no sebum oil is secreted?
I am going to visit a scalp trichologist/specialist to get advice on this.
