Is there a safe way to encourage regrowth while breastfeeding?

I’m currently breastfeeding and noticing a lot of postpartum shedding, especially around my hairline. I know hair loss after giving birth is common, but I want to make sure anything I use to help with regrowth is safe while nursing. I’m trying to avoid strong chemicals or anything that could affect milk supply. Has anyone found gentle, natural, or breastfeeding-safe ways to support hair regrowth during this stage?

Would love to hear about products, routines, or supplements that worked for you (if cleared by your doctor, of course!).

Mama, I totally feel you. I went through the same thing around 3 months postpartum and was so nervous to try anything while breastfeeding. What helped me was going super gentle — scalp massages with warm coconut oil and a few drops of rosemary oil (always diluted), and switching to a hair care line made for moms like us. I started using Evavitae because it’s safe while nursing and really soothing on the scalp.

I kept my hair in loose styles, stayed super hydrated, and just gave myself grace. The shedding slowed down over time, and those little baby hairs started coming back. You’re doing amazing — hang in there, mama
