Umm, you sure, I always heard that it’s better to use sulfate and alcohol free shampoos, as regular shampoos would ruin the system or worse the system would not last as long? Maybe I am wrong, can you explain why most hair replacement companies will always recommend sulfate free shampoo instead of a shampoo just sold over the counter at Walmart or target?

Me was told, even from the manufacturer and from my stylist, that with real hair you can use every shampoo. Of course don´t buy the cheapest, but you don´t have to buy some "special" shampoo for 30 $ or more.
A thin skin system is designed to wear from a few weeks to maybe some month.
I don´t know how anyone could have difficulties with a shampoo in this short lifespan

You need a color protecting shampoo or a mild one. Real hair becomes dull and lifeless over time because of washing it. The less you do it the better. I also use a coloring shampoo.
