7 year old girl diagnosed with alopecia areata 1 year ago. Now lost approx. 60% of hair. Steroid spray showed no results & was an oily mess. Minoxodil showed no results & was VERY irrritating to scalp...very drying & extreme flaky. Now trying the DCP topical treatment for 8 weeks thus far with minimal regrowth. New spots still appearing & hair still receding, just much slower. HELP???
