Noticed in recent pics he's grown out his hair, it doesn't look bad actually. Probably using products to thicken it up but I was surprised to see him grow it out again.

Wow that's crazy I figured he had, had that scalp tattoo done or something, because his hair was always buzzed down, I wonder if he had a hair transplant or something.

He always claimed her preferred to shave it and that it wasn't hair loss. I guess he was telling the truth.

Either that or he just bought the best hairpiece

In OP's pics it looks like its a piece or possibly a transplant. His hairline is def a Norwood 2 and it has that kind of look that some transplants have where...it looks real..but..something is just..a bit off

Just what is he thinking? ----- You were one of the biggest girl crushes in the 90's and most guys envy of great hair, then you start to bald, freak out shave, the get sick of everyone asking why did you shave your great hair, deny everything about balding and say you are doing for a movie, then come back and get scalp tattoo, get more ripped and realize to come back fully you need hair too so then, get a crap for hair transplant, then color wierd to blend with the scalp tat. Didn't work and even more of an embarassement.

I don't know the guy but I remember posts about him some years ago, and you nailed it....He got a scalp tattoo, and now has had a hair transplant, but he needs more thickness, or some concealer. But you can tell from looking at him that he is one vain mofo.

Joey is a very public testament to the fact that the social stigma for baldness is alive and well. Even after all the evidence and scrutiny, he still denies having male pattern baldness. Like it is a bad word or something, cuz it is.

And guys like Corey Stoll, Stanley Tucci, Rob Corddy, Paul Scheer, etc. are public testaments that being bald isn't this freak of nature condition you make it out to be and they have no problem talking about being bald. And those guys show that you can be incredibly successful and happy in life being bald. Just like being fat, short, minority or insert w/e thing people are insecure about aren't impediments to a fulfilling life.

And then there's members in this very forum like sandovalusa who is NW6 and he's not bothered at all with being bald and doesn't experience any prejudice from society. Not surprisingly he hasn't been on this forum in 2 years because he's living his life and not drowning in his own self-loathing.

"its been forever since ive been on here. hair loss isnt an issue in my life anymore. noone mentions it, noone says anything. i think the initial shock was just because everyone was surprised to see me when i first shaved it and that made me insecure and uncomfortable.

now its a non-issue"
