Just pulled out a ton of hair. help

I'm a diffuse thinner and am sitting here studying for this test. I was just messing with my hair, kind of tugging at the area where it is most thin (the back of my head where my part was, and now is just a thin spot) when I pulled out like 10 hairs. it completely freaked me out.

is this normal? they just snapped right out of my head.

How big of an area did you pull from? 10/100 hairs falling out when you pull is not abnormal but 10/25 is. Maybe you have Telogen Effluvium.

it was definately out of about 30 hairs probably. nothing much at all. it was concentrated at the center of the parting area. the hair there is extremely weak and when it falls out, i can break it in half without much effort at all.
