keep losing before it kicks in?

I only just started finasteride 3 months ago, so I'm not worried or surprised that my hair doesn't look better. However, I think it might be worse. It's not drastic (and I certainly don't think it's because of propecia), but it's definitely unsettling. Is this unusual? Does it mean that the finasteride isn't going to work, or does it mean nothing?

I think many people experience something like this. Three months isn't really enough time to gauge whether it's working or not. You need to persevere for at least 2 years on it.

A friend of mine (who's 30 years old) has been on it for 8 months and the regrowth is amazing, but that's just one. So, keep taking it religiously (same time each day) and providing it's legit, you'll hopefully see results eventually. Try adding Rogaine and Nizoral to your regimen.
