Hi to all

Does any member use both glue and tape at the Front hairline ?

what im thinking is
  • Tape the front down 1cm away from the front hairline
  • Then use glue to stick down the 1cm gap
Are their any members who do this and what is the outcome good or bad and is it worth doing ?

Thanks Munt

I do that sometimes if I need an extra long or strong hold. It works well. You can use a strong tape like Walkers No-Shine, and it takes all the pressure off the hairline glue.

I use this method, as, for exposed hairline, glue is less visible.
Because I usually redo my hairline every 3 days ( lifts, dirty hairline, etc..) i put tape a bit further back, leave a 1CM gap between tape and glue and glue 1 cm of the hairline. that way when I unglue the hairline to clean it and re-glue it, , i don't have to lift the taped part and weaken that bond.
