I am 44 and just within the past few months I've noticed that I've thinned quite recently. For the first time in my life I received a sunburn to my scalp after a day's outing at an amusment park with my family.

I've read many of the postings - However, I will face baldness like a trooper rather than expose my wife and a possible child to a tetragen such as is evidenced with the systemic treatments.

I have searched your site for Laser Comb (not the laser treatment centers) only treatments with the Laser Comb and I didn't find any that used it exclusively (Am I wrong?).

I shall give regular updates whenever I notice any changes - good and bad.

While I am no stud - I do get looks from much younger ladies and I simply don't want that to stop

I use a bunch of junk, but the LC is the only growth stimulant in my regimen.

There are only two solutions to the problem as it is known. You either INHIBIT the 5a-reductase enzyme **or** you block the androgen receptor.

No offense Socks but from this point of view wouldn't minoxidil be a shame as well? I'm new to all this and may not be as well informed but it seems like you're approaching hairloss from a purely DHT-Inhibition standpoint. A product doesn't necessarily have to stop DHT to be effective, the idea behind products like minoxidil and the Laser Comb are that they help combat hairloss by keeping the follicles as healthy and robust as possible in light of DHT attacking them, buying you extra time by keeping your hair from "going gently into that good night". I personally don't have enough faith/money right now to invest in a laser comb but I think it could very well be viable. The idea behind it and product itself seem to smack of rip-off but if there weren't something there I doubt they'd have applied for FDA approval. I've read some of the early data from the FDA trials and it actually seems pretty promising. I'd post a link but I don't feel like scouring the internet right now. Anyway, I'm sure it's pretty easy to find.

For the records, the LC has been proven to regrow hair by the canadian government and is currently under FDA evaluation for REGROWTH. Attacking dht is only 1/3 of the hairloss fight. You need a good stimulant as well as anti-inflammatory. Next to minoxidil, the LC is your best bet for a growth stimulant.
