I actually purchased a used one (from Kiel) a few months back and tried it for a while. Personally, I actually think it was having an effect. I would have to stick it on my head for 45 minutes at a time before I had the feeling anything was happening though.

I stopped using it because it was too much of a pain in the ***. Also, I've recently given up on the hope of ever having an awesome head of my own hair, and begun researching other ways how I can have an awesome head of (someone else's) hair.

Certainly don't buy a new one if you want to try it. $800 is ridiculous.

Well I am on the big 3 with great results and personally know someone who built a laser helmet and is getting great results. To say everything besides a hairpiece is crap is just wrong on so many levels. I am glad you found what works best for you but don't down people for trying to find what works best for them. Everyone responds to treatments differently.

I owned a laser comb for around 6-7 months before selling it. I used it religiously as instructed, but they just dont work. And if they do its minimal certainly not worth the downtime it takes to use them every second day. Like 20 mins.

Do you have 20 minutes to spare every second day?

I dont.

Its results vs time of use just isnt worth it my opinion.

However having said all that, if money is no object then I wouldnt object to you trying it. Who knows! You could grow all ur hair back! :woot:

I am not a technical person but from what I inderstand the helmet has more mega jules than the comb and is more equivalent to the in office treatment that costs thousands. Also instead of "brushing" with the comb, the helmet justs sits on your head and is hands free.

LMAO there is no scientific evidence to suggest that lazers can do anything to regrow hair. Its a total scam.
Is this it?

I've heard lasers work for some people to some extent, like people with alopecia or generally thin hair. Just not people with the male pattern baldness type of hairloss. Companies advertise that it does work for this type of hairloss because they know there is a lot more money to be made in treating this type of hairloss.
