liposomal topical ensures the devlivery reaches the follicles with the least possible systematic absorption.

Side effects have been nill.

Great to live in Canada knowing I have this as an option if I ever need it:cool:

The study on liposomel as a carrier yeilded none of these side effects.

Link?

If you touch finasteride, it will get into your bloodstream. If you touch it repeatedly it will accumulate in your bloodstream. If it accumulates, there will at some point be enough 5AR inhibition to cause the unwanted side effects if you are prone to getting them.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

"Studies have suggested that with some formulations of topical finasteride about 1/10th to 1/20th of the amount gets absorbed into the blood compared to the amount if the pills were used."

Okay so basically you have 20 times more of a chance of ruining your dick and growing tits on the oral version.

Keep fighting the good fight.

Finasteride has a flat response curve, meaning that 0,05 mg inhibits almosts as much 5AR as 1 mg.

So someone that sells topical finasteride promotes it... What a surprise! I am sure he is not biased at all.

He is still someone with financial interest in topical finasteride because he sells it. It is like asking Mark Zuckerberg what the best social media platform is. Also, you are not responding to my arguments, only copy pasting irrelevant information.

Actual study citing it's so safe it can be used in pregnant females

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6609098/

Although preliminary results on the use of topical FNS are limited, the studies reviewed demonstrate that topical FNS may be safe for use in patients wishing to avoid systemic side effects. This may be especially important for the Androgenetic Alopecia population in female, in which systemic FNS is not approved due to hormonal suppression, considering that it is a category X drug during pregnancy.8 It is possible that topical FNS will follow the same path as topical retinoid derivatives (category C)17 and their parent systemic drug isotretinoin (category X),18 with the topical formulation of FNS considered relatively safe for use in pregnant females if the benefits outweigh the risk.

Oral finasteride is also considered safe in most studies.

finasteride reduces androgenetic alopecia through the specific and competitive inhibition of 5α-reductase enzyme. This enzyme is responsible for the dihydrotestosterone (DHT) production in hair follicles. Accordingly, finasteride decreases the DHT levels in the hair follicles and in the blood.7 Although the FDA has approved finasteride to use in oral formulations, the administration of finasteride by this route has led to undesirable systemic side effects.8,9 The undesirable effects include mood disturbance, gynecomastia, decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, and ejaculation disorder.10,11 Consequently, successful topical administration of finasteride could improve finasteride penetration and increase its accumulation in the skin layers and hair follicles and could reduce its major side effects resulting from oral administration.1214
