I'm close to 22, and currently in NW2.5, maybe. I started dutasteride about 50 days ago and started minoxidil about 20 days ago. I think I'm still losing hairs and hope it is just shedding but it seems that my hair line is still receding.
I know that it's too early to judge the effect of my regimen. It will at least slow down my hair loss.
However, I'm extremely anxious of thinking I'm goint to be bald. As my hair loss started early, I feel like I cannot save my hairs for a long time.
Is it quite common that people do not lose much hairs for a long time while on drug even if their hair loss started early?
In addition, the success stories say that hair transplant guarantees that 90% of the transplanted hairs survive, but it seems that people do not believe that. How much of the transplanted hairs survive in average? Is failure in hair transplant common?
