Are you serious, the doctors assistant said it was minituarized, and ive been on finasteride for the past two weeks. I'll prob keep using it until i die, but I was skeptical because she sounded uneducated

Well almost none unless rub my scalp. I go several days in between showers and I shed 20-30 after rubbing my head with a towel. Around 5-6 every time I play with my hair before or after a shower. Very few shed hairs are miniaturized. I am approaching my second week on finasteride.

Hm I see, your hair looks good to me and i think your decision to get on finasteride is a bit rushed. But anyway best of luck and hope you keep all your hair man. Also for your question, I don’t see much miniaturization in the picture.

Listen to her, because I wouldn't know. If she works in a doctor's office she must have some knowledge. My two cents don't mean much. Best of luck to you.

Looks like very little miniaturization. Getting on finasteride now should allow you to keep your hair for a long time.

Yes, I started taking finasteride the same day I got this dermascopy. I'm really hoping I'm not a non-responder.

My theory is that those who have signs of male pattern baldness at a young age are more likely to be non-responders since we have such a high sensitivity to DHT at a young age. But I also might have high DHT levels in general, considering I have been able to grow a full beard since 16.

Even if I suffered severe side effects, I will do whatever it takes to keep my hair for a while.
