Hi just wanted to give an update. I'm 36 years old now. I still have mild post finasteride syndrome after micro dossing finasteride 9 years ago. You can check my old posts on this account. I have no sensation when I orgasm but my libido and erections are ok. I also have mild tinnitus and some other mild symptoms I won't go into on this forum. What's really interesting though is I believe my hairline hasn't changed at all in 9 years since I tapered off finasteride. I also used to have really bad acne on my back and my buttocks which is now completely gone . If I could find a way to improve my orgasms and sensation I'd consider this a complete win. Has this happened to anyone else?

I can't remember exactly how I tapered off finasteride as it was 9 years ago. But I remember increasing the amount of days between each dosage and reducing the amount as I tapered off. Something like 0.25mg every 3 days for 2 weeks. 0.1mg every 4 days for 2 weeks. 0.05mg every 10 days for 2 weeks. I did it very gradually and the last dosage was maybe something like 0.025mg after 30 days. I also took it as Proscar dissolved in alcohol I stored in my fridge in amber glass bottles with dropper pipettes. And I think it took about 2 or 3 months.

Brian Shelton always advised those who quit finasteride to do a taper like that in order to prevent sudden hair loss from upregulation + increased DHT.

Oh and I forgot to mention although my hairline is exactly the same as it was 9 years ago my hair is quite dry and dull now because of the decreased sebum production as my scalp produces less oil. I also have a lot of grey hairs as I smoke on and off. And I've also never used any form of minoxidil.

Sounds like you might have killed off DHT receptors or something. When I stopped using dutasteride my hair remained for a few months and I hoped something similar had happened, but it eventually started disappearing. I think it was the long half life or something.

I found vitamin d3 5000iu and cialis helped with libido. Worth a try.
