Massive Hair Loss After Quitting Minoxidil For 4 Months, Can I Get It Back?

I quit minoxidil 4 months ago after having been on it for years. Before I quit i had a NW2 hairline but without much diffuse thinning. Now my hairline is a bit worse but the diffuse thinning is FAR worse.

I've been in finasteride for years and continued taking 1mg daily.

I just started minoxidil again. What are the odds that I can get back what I lost and get back to where I was before I quit?

Nobody can answer that for you, everybody is different. Just keep it up with minoxidil and hope for the best.
I know that everybody is different but I'm just wondering what generally happens in this situation.

Myself; my hair gets pretty bad if I slack off on my regimen. Then it all grows back when I bump it back up again.

That's comforting to hear. How long does it usually take to all grow back?

If it's only been four months you will likely get most of it back, and it shouldn't take as long as it did the first time.
