I bought a digital microscope to check my hair/skin on scalp. Except I'm not sure if what I am seeing is normal? I see dead skin but do the follicles look fine at the root? Is it Inflammation?

I numbered each photo to identify which one you would be speaking of.
Any help appreciated. Thank you

Ha! This is awesome. Where did you get the microscope and how much was it? What magnifications does it go up to? Does it take pictures directly?

I want to play with this. I can tell you if my scalp looks the same. :)

From what I can see here, looks like there are a lot of thick dark hairs but also a lot of very thin unpigmented hairs. Those are typically what are referred to as "vellus hairs". eg. #3. At least I think that's what I'm seeing.

I think your scalp is fine. Maybe some minor issue becouse of minoxidil liquid. That's all, I wouldn't worry about it.
When I had big issues with inflammation I was taking pictures weekly to check what worked and what didn't. (That is how I found out about salic acid, shampoo's etc)

I bought this one on eBay:

You need Windows for it to work. It comes with a program that allows you to see live what you're looking at and snap photos.
