Minoxidil for Facial Hair/ Systemic Absorption Question

Hey everyone,

So I've been using propecia for 13 months now with pretty good results, my crown and top of my head have thickened up with my thinning spot almost extinct unk:

I was interested in using liquid 5% minoxidil to help promote my facial hair to grow. However, my concerns are that minoxidil will be systemically absorbed causing my scalp hairs to also become dependent on minoxidil. Is this a valid fear, or should I proceed with applying the liquid minoxidil to my face?
