Minoxodil 5% for women

Hi I was wondering if you havent been using minoxodil for say 18 months you could go staright on to the 5% or you need to start at 2% and work your way up. I used minoxodil 2% in the past but stopped using as I saw no results or improvement. Now thinds are worse I want to give it another go but dont know if I should go staright on to 5%. I am worried as I have used stronger minoxoil may years ago but had to discontune use os it irrated my scalp so much. :freaked2:
