So here's what I've been up to.

2005-05-20 I started taking proscar. (1.25mg/each day)
2005-11-25 I started with fungoral (nizoral).. about 3times/week

The last month (maybe more) or so I've noticed I have less hair in the crown area. So what I'm hoping for is that this is the dreaded shedding I hear so much about and that after rain comes sunshine (hair).

I've never really noticed my hairloss in the form of hairs when I run my fingers through it. I keep my hair short and I'm blonde so I can hardly see the hairs :) From the day I started both propecia and nizoral I havent noticed any improvement whatsoever but not a decrease in hairs either until now.

So what I'm wondering is: Have I enterd the stage that sepparates the success-stories from the oh-no-why-me-stories, based on the time I've been on the medication?

Give it more time. Don't get freaked out at 6 months. It's most likely a normal period of "shedding." Everyone responds differently and at different times. Some first shed much earlier than 6 months...I'm an example, as I'm around the month mark. In all probability the area will fill back in - hopefully more densely...but it may take a few "sheds" to get things on track. Each time, the regrowth can be more vigorous. Kick back and have a Bud.
