Hey everyone,
Wanted to share some pics of my hairloss, which I caught very early, to give a little insight and hear feedback. Id put myself at Norwood 2.
I noticed my temples thinning in Feb 2018. I started using 5% Rogaine Foam and Nizoral 1% 3x a week in early June 2018.
I hopped on Propecia in August 2018 and took .5mg daily until early November where I starting taking 1mg daily until now.
Here are pictures. Older photos taken with a worse camera. See my other thread for a baseline.
Pictures with Green = Sept 18
Red = Oct 18
Blue = Feb 19
I haven't experienced any side effects, except slight inflammation of gyno which I've had since puberty and doesnt bother me.
It's still early, but wanted to share a message to those who are beginning to notice recession and comtiplating treatments.
It is a great feeling knowing your addressing your hairloss and has made me feel better overall. Dont be scared to try treatments and if you do, pay close attention to how it effects you both physically and mentally. I also highly advise to have a conversation with your doctor first.
Thank you! Comments/questions are welcomed and I appreciate any feedback.
I'll try to make another update in a few months.
