Ok, so at the beginning of last august and after having three seriously stressing months, all of a sudden my hair starts falling down ,I didn't dare to look at the shower's floor because it was horrid. In a matter of 30-40 days I lost 60% of my hair, and i wanted to die.......... Big shiny scalps on my head.......
So what I did?
DOCTOR #1: Told me to have 30 mg. Prednisone a day and 3% minoxidil (some other components I can't recall now). After 1 week of "shock" treatment it didn't work at all. Even i started to lose the eyebrows, which was really scary for me. The only choice given was to raise the daily Prednisone dose, so, bye bye doctor#1...
DOCTOR#2: The good one. He was aware from the beginning about how severe was my alopetia, so he gave the true "shock" treatment, which consisted at:
- 30 mg. Prednisone a day
- 4% minoxidil (along with other things, like Zync , biotine ....) i hour before going to bed
- 0,005 % dyfenciprone solution, after waking up
- Vitamin complex
Voilà !!!! after 2 months all my hair is back (well, except 2 really small scalps ,almost invisible already).
After the 2nd month I shaved my head , and from that moment on, NOT A SINGLE HAIR has fallen off my head. Now I have kind of a US marine haircut.
Now I'm having 10mg Prednisone, slowly retiring it, and 3% minoxidil, it's working..
so, ALL OF YOU GUYS WITH THIS DISEASE DON'T PANIC, definitely IT CAN BE CURED IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, if you are constant.....
I would advise you to shave your head though. After the initial shock, you will feel sooooo much better and the hair will grow even and stronger than ever.
