My Dermatologist Said Only 1 Percent Of People Taking Finasteride Experience Sides

What's the belief on here? I've googled since then and I'm getting mixed information. I'm still concerned about side effects.

Its really hard to say. Most on here would probably say its a lot higher then 1 percent, but the thing is no one on here knows that for sure. If your that 1 percent your going to whine about it no matter what, and its a pretty low percentage.
Generally I would listen to your doctor or derm over anyone on a forum. Whether its worth the risk is up to each person to decide.

My opinion is that almost everyone can see changes in his body on finasteride , be it sexual or not (body hair , belly fat , etc)
However they are usually mild , maybe some people wont even notice them . I assume the 1 % really needed dht for their sexual function , but probably more than 1% noticed changes but nothing important enough to report as a side effect

My dermatologist said only 1% of dermatologists have any clue what the f*** is going on when it comes to male hair loss.

Agree with this. DHT is a powerful hormone. Suppressing 70% + is going to have effects on everybody regardless of how small. I personally don't know anybody that's taken an AA without some kind of minor effects.

I was on Finasteride for 2 years between the ages of 17 and 19 and literally didn't have one side effect. I had an increased sex drive for like a week but after that I literally felt nothing.

How did it work out for you? Did you maintain?
