Live in CT, USA and went on 3 fue consults.
Of the 3 this is the place I liked most speaking with a Dr Tan.

I think his prices and product seem fair and welter is on the iahrs (Tan isnt)

Anyway
Does anyone have any experience with them? So hard finding reviews for this sort of thing.

Do you think a hair transplant will look natural on me.

I would like non doctor opinions since I always feel like I'm being sold otherwise.

Well the thing is his charge basis was basically 7k and this was a base charge for a first session that would generally cover all the needed places such as crown and front hair line.
After that they for future visits if needed there is a graft charge.
He said they could do an all per graft charge but its much less expensive and easier for the, this way first.
I actually got an honest vibe from him on it and after speaking with another Doctor after he kind of agreed with it but said he didn't do it that way.

please dont quote me since its been some time now. I emailed him to talk to him about that again but as I stated he out of the country at a convention. He pre warned be sept and oct were going to be bad months to reach him. He has returned my email of course but Im not expecting a phone call or for him to have a full fledged conversation while in another country when it can wait.

When I asked for a graft count he said its different for everyone but if someone needs a LOT like 2500 to 3K + they use the base fee but less than that they will use graft charge or whatever you feel comfortable.
Destephano's price and graft count was almost identical to this guys base cost estimation so I didn't think he was pulling my leg.

Bodens graft count was less because he ONLY wanted to do the front but wanted to charge me like 11K.

each Doctor has their own way i guess.

Tan said If i felt uncomfortable I could go the per graft but it gets much more expensive. Believe it or not I got a good vibe, and I usually read people well.


I really dont want to say anything wrong on their part or misconstrue some words so Id rather give more details when hes back and we talk again.

He basically said he'd rebuild the front hairline/temples and fill the back in and do it right the first time with as much as I'd need for as long as it takes for me to be there to get max coverage and density.

ok...but when I was considering Rahal, I got a quote for the total, based on how many grafts would be done, and the kind of operation, FUE or FUT...this was after the online consultation ..

...it sounds like you're being a bit too passive here....you need to get a hard-number quote for the work to be done --- $xxxx for xxxx grafts, plus supplies, etc, etc = $xxxxx total....the explanation you're giving seems way too complicated so I would be cautious here

If it's in the ball park of $7K for 3K grafts, then that is reeeeeally cheap for FUE....When I got my estimate, I thought it was for FUE but it was for FUT....Rahal $12K for 2500 grafts FUT, damn near $20K for that in FUE...

Rahal is one of the best..but there are others doing some pretty good work out there as well ...and you're right, it is like "brand name" versus "generic"....Rahal has ten's of thousands out there who see he's regarded as one of the top three on the planet, so they go for it...but $20K is wayyyyyyyyy too much for FUE at only 2500 grafts

...I'm waiting to see the reviews on Dr. Wesley's presentation on scarless FUE -- this may be a game changer in more ways than one...
