Well, ill give everyone a little back groun information first. I started noticing my hair receding back in 10th grade (im 19 right now) . . . well back then when i first noticed it, it blew my mind, i couldnt believe i was going bald, so i went to see a doctor and got my first perscription of propecia. I used the prescription all the way to the experiation date, then kind of slacked on the meds for a couple of months. I didnt want to keep going to the derm. (because it was embaressing) every couple months. So life went on for me, i would spend 90% of my day thinking how my hair looked. So around 18 i decided to try an online pharmacy and i have been using http://www.inhousepharmacy.com (<- i recommened!) ever sence. Well today was the day i finally made the decision to buzz my hair after the last 4 years of worry how i looked. It came to the point today how stupid i looked, it looked like i knew i was going bald, so i grew my hair out long to cover it up, and i just felt plane stupid for the last 4 - 5 months (it really started to get long) . . . So i gave buzzing it a shot, i figured i couldnt look any stupider then i already did. . . and now i have to say, it is the best thing i have ever done, im so glad i dont have to worry about my hair anymore. Or when your driving down the street you dont want to open the window because the wind might mess up your hair, or when its windy outside, or when your riding a bike. . . im so glad them days are over now. Im also glad i dont have to take finasteride. anymore, because it was actually making me tired, i never felt like doing anything, and i was always depressed (not sure if it was the drug or not) . . . . so this is more a sigh of relief post and a recommandation to everyone that is so worried about stupid hair. . . just fucken buzz it, give it a shot!

If the meds and the hope for regrowth wasn't making you feel better about our loss, i'm glad that buzzing it did. congrats! i think i'll be in the same boat in about a year or so.

I have two weeks (give or take) of school to go. Then I am going to have to do something drastic, because i'm 18 and I have other things to deal with then how my hair looks.

Today at school, all I could think about was my hair. When I got home, I spent 3 hours worrying about it, trying to fix it.

Can't wait to buzz it. I would now, only- if it looks really bad, then I won't be able to pretend to enjoy my last few weeks of school like I can now with the hair I have.
