Need a non-oily topical, Prox-n?

I'm looking for a non-minoxidil topical I can use during the day. I am a diffuse thinner and anything that is even slightly greasy or oily will make my thinning much more pronounced. So I'd prefer a topical that dries quickly without any residue. It's fine if it's a bit drying since I have an oily scalp.

Does Prox-n fit this bill? One post I read said it's a little bit like a leave-in conditioner, which is not ideal for me. But that was from 8 years ago. I wonder if the formula has changed?

Any other recommendations?
