good day to all. i've recently started on a low carbohydrate/high protein diet. i was wondering if decreasing carbohydrate in my diet might affect my hairloss. i usually eat three pieces of wheat bread thoughout the day in between small meals like fruit, fish, protein bars. if anyone can enlighten me on this, i would appreciate it very much.

no. this type of diet will not negatively impact your hairloss. protein and iron deficiency are imlpicated in hairlloss.

it is better to be selective abiout the kindsof carbohydrates you consume. Complex carbohydrates are good.

Also realize this type of diet isn't something you should be on for an extended period of time. It will promote bone loss. You want to do this maybe 2-3 weeks.

After that... I fully recommend abs diet for men.

Just telling you that that is a fad diet... that is for short term results. Kind of the same as South Beach, no?

Do what you want... but, I'd gravitate towards something like ABs diet which is more of a lifestyle change.
