I have recently done something that has helped my hair more than anything I have tried. My overall hair is much thicker than it has been since this my male pattern baldness emerged. In fact when I come out of the shower I can't see any thin spots anymore which is remarkable.

The product that I think it is I have been taking for about 1.5mo and noticed these results about two weeks ago. I wasn't taking it for my hair but for another problem I had with my skin that relates to male pattern baldness.

I changed several things in the last month so I want to be sure which one it is such as:

Adding 3mg of A-AKG to my daily routine
Installing an Aquasana shower filter
*Spliting Proscar on a weekly as needed basis
Taking Two Multy vitamins a day.
Adding 15% Xandrox to my Regimen
Adding a Protein treatment to my hair

* I used to split all my proscar at once and even though most say that splitting the pill will not make it less effective, I feel that coating helps protect the oxygen from getting at the medicine. I think this happens over the course of months if at all- nontheless I split two Proscar at a time to provide 8 doses. Don't know if this is the cause of my hairgrowth, just being thorough.

I did not list the supplement that I think is responsible for my hairgrowth- will post more when I research more. My hair is thicker than it has been in 8 years.

This is not a bullshit thread and I will post the Supplement facts when I am sure it is the product that is responsible.

I doubt it because the area's that show the most growth are in area's that I do not apply the Xandrox, like the top of my skull. I only apply Xandrox to the frontal lobes.

Redbone ...

Hi Redbone - I've been using Xandrox 15% at night for around a year now. I've also used Xandrox 5% during the day, and I'm on Avodart every other day. Anyhow, glad to hear you're doing well, but I MUST ask you - are you REALLY the MILF dude? If so, I've been admiring your sites for quite some time now.

If you are doubting, check his latest videos, compare with the old ones, and look for regrowth.

Hey now I am being scientific here- f*** the f*** videos for the time being. I doubt it is the Xandrox or thinning thickening making it look type of bullshit..... :?

The top of my head has thick hair where their was thin hair before, I do not think something sparked its growth, I think the removal of a substance has allowed it to grow normal.

To those who want to be ignorant keep talking. I will send you on a cruise with Captain Stabbins and his mighty mates :D :freaked2:

For those who wish to be serious I think I have a discovery that will help lots of people.

One way to find out is to quit all products until your hair returns to baseline condition, then add 1 product by itself for a period of time until the improvement returns.

Or another systematic approach which should yield the same results is to stop half of the products, determine if your hair regresses or stays the same, then either cut the products in half again or switch to the other two depending. Worst case on this approach is it takes as long as the first, but there is a stronger potential for it finding the solution faster.

Don't leave us in suspense. What is it? Maybe a few other people could also try it to see if it works with them.

First off I beleive everybody should use a shower filter, although Chlorine levels are not really high they may be high enough to hinder male pattern baldness sufferes in their quest. I use the Aquasana it is supposed to be the best for around $60. One thing is for sure Chlorine strips your hair of oils.

Second I highly suggest good doses of Agrginine- Alpha Ketagluterate, it is super powered Arginine which releases Nitric oxide and helps blood flow. Secondary benefits are giant loads and a hard member, nice pumps as well if you lift weights. 3gm a day is a good dose but divide it up, also consult a doctor before you do this as I am not an expert. If you have any form of herpes it will grow like crazy when Arginine is introduce into the system- so to those people don't try it.

The Protein treatment is made by a proffesional line shampoo company and is designed for thinning hair. My lady friend is a hairstylist and gets me hair stuff at 1/2 price so I try it all. This seems to be good stuff though- I'll get back to you with the name.

I would definately not consider cutting out my regimen to compare products that nuts. HEY i DO HAVE AN IMAGE.... but I can tell you I am almost positive it is the secret to my recent success, I figure 30% thicker hair in 5 weeks, not to shabby.

I will get back as soon as possible when I do a bit of research. This is not a set up or scam, it is something I think would work for some of the guys here, depending on your hormone level and skin type.

This may have been covered before, but would shower filters be a benefit to us in the UK were the tap water's of a better quality?

Ive been taking Arginine/Orathine before bed for muscle recovery. Whats a good brand that has the Alpha Ketagluterate in it for me to try? Ive been taking Twin Labs. BTW last weekend I worked out in the morning and downed 3g about a half hour before my workout. Usually my morning pumps are somewhat less than evening, but I got huge pumps that morning- probably from the Arginine.

There's still chlorine and loads of other crap in water in the UK:

You can check out your water quality here:

I don't know if hard water can damage your hair? I live in a hard water area and have problems with limescale and calcium build up. I think you can get filters that you put on your main water inlet to filter water for the whole house.

I buy bulk A-AKG from http://www.1fast400.com they are the best and cheap too. 10x better than Twinlab stuff.

I am not sure what England puts in their water but Chlorine seems to be the universal Bacteria Killer so I am sure they use it as well.

I have been tacking the supplement that I mentioned saving my hair for about 2 months now approximately 6 grams a day in powder form, instructions for others say to take at least 10g sometimes 20g but I never got that high.
