Just thought I'd share with you all.

Have been on Absalom Hair Care, MSM and Zinc, plus Vit C and Multi vits for not very long, but it is working.

Not sure what caused my hair loss, could be:

A) Do a lot of cycling - could be bike helmet.
B) Medicine used to treat epilepsy - have been epileptic since about 15, which is round about when my hair started to thin I guess, and one of the side effects of Epilim is hair loss.
C) Genetic - my dad has hair but none of my uncles nor grandad did.

Anyway, I've started about 15 days ago, and already my hair looks and feels thicker, and where it was receding, it is now starting to grow hair where it definitely did not have any before. Weird cos my hair normally grows really slowly.

This is happening on both sides of my head, and the rest of my hair is thickening and feeling more and looking more healthy now. A friend has already commented on the difference (and they don't know I'm using any treatment).

Anyway will keep on posting my progress, what do ya reckon - Sorry have no pic to show the "before" but trust me it is looking a lot better. Have wet my hair and tried to get it out the way so you can see the new hairs, hence the messy crap look!

sorry man, 15 days is too early for any treatment to work. Your probably noticing hair you never noticed before. Neverheless, keep at it and im sure your hair will continue to improve.

I'm sorry but what I'm seeing here is the claims of a "miracle cure". If it's a little over a month or two, then yes, I'd agree with you that you're seeing results. But only after 15 days? I cry "Miracle Cure!" and run the other direction:(]

Hoffman: One of the side effects of phenytoin is hair growth! Ask your doctor about prescribing phenytoin for your seizures.

Here's a quick before and after.

I know the light isn't the same, but all the same it does appear to be working.

the 1st pic was taken on the 16th June, and the other one today. I've tried to get the same position, but had to be quick cos my digicam needs recharging.

Another side effect of this is that my hair has started to appear straighter and less fluffy.

I know there isn't a huge amount of difference, but in normal conditions (i.e. inddors and when I'm not taking photos with bright daylight shining on my head) my hair is looking better.

Old Baldy: Cheers for the info, think I'll stay on my med at the mo... I don't have bad epilepsy, just have about 1 fit a year approx, when I'm asleep, doesn't really effect me. I take epilem twice a day, and even when I came off it for 8 months, I had no problems, but then after a fit, I decided that it was best to stay on it.

Phenytoin can be used as a topical (it can even be mixed with minoxidil. at 2 percent very easily).

Dang! That's a big difference. Thanks for the post and info.

Absalom Hair Care was formerly "Herbal Bliss."

Purified water, wine vinegar, Siberian Ginseng, Sage, Yarrow, Lemon Grass, Angelica, Onion, Marshmallow, Maiden Hair, Nettle, Rosemary, catnip, Sweet Violet, Fragrances, Vitamin A, E, F, C, D & B Complex.

Perhaps the MSM is helping. I've seen positive results surfacing
more and more on these and other forums. I started to take 3000mg
per day a week ago...I'll post results should I see any.
