Is worse then hell! it gives a sort of hope for the dummies, that we will wake up some morning and see a thread talking about a cure... this will never happen, i've been lurking the section for years .. it actually what got me to gourmetstylewellness.com the first place, and i can say all those years the pattern is the same; "cure in couple of years"... you can find threads back to 1998 saying a cure in 3 years...

so for all you guys who hope that something good is coming (like me)... time to get real, if your bald\balding.. there is no cure right now, and will never be in our effective life time.

bottom line, stay away cause it gives a false hopes.

good-day!.

I first started researching hair loss on the internet 8 years ago and remember seeing a lot of posts about all these different trials, experiments, etc. that made it sound like a cure was just 3 to 5 years away. So much false hope, I wish they were right. I want my sex life back. :(

To achieve win the war, you have to win at least one battle.
In the case of baldness, and as demonstrated by the passage of time, is better to find a method to prevent hair loss, later we will find a real solution. Prevention better than cure, indicated by that the ancient Greeks.

BTW Ori, Did you wrote at the antediluvian alt.sci.baldspot? ;)

I am glad that not many people think like you with your defeatist attitude. False hope or not, its better to be optimistic rather than negative like you. Things will get better if we put our minds together, magic will happen, hairs will grow out of concrete!

we should be pessimistic. Look at Star Trek, set hundreds of years in the future and they still haven't found a cure. Captain Picard is bald and it's not because he's deliberatley buzzed it down. He must be a Norwood 7 or 8

The ORIcle has returned.

But hell yeah, nothing can make a bald guy feel like he is living in purgatory more than the new research and discoveries section.

I even posted a thread in that section stating how much I hated that area.
