hello, im new to this, im 23 years old guy who start loosing hair at the age of 22.
I've been using Avixis (i havent seen it on internet much enough) and i want to try propecia, but i have a question:

If i take propecia, how long it will help me. (afer 15 years will stop working? or something like that?)

About the well known side effects of propecia, it will disappear if i stop taking it?
thanks a lot

propecia studies were carried out for 5 years with results declining towards the 5 year mark, so theres no evidance that it will or will not help for 15 years, most probably not. not by itself at least.

combine it with minoxidil and nizoral and you should be able to maintain what you have left and maybe even grow some lost hair back for the next 6 - 8 years or more perhaps..*shrugs.

studies indicate sides go away after continuing or discontinuing the treatment, but there are some who still complain of sides after quitting. then again, you might not get the sides. you'll never know till you try.

start of on a low dosage , 0.8 mg of finasteride.
2 % minoxidil solution , morning and night
nizoral , 2 - 3 times a week.

Start propecia. It will help. Worry about what happens in 5 years, for now if you are losing now, stop it before it happens. If you have sides, make sure you are NOT on 1.25mg. Lower to 1mg (the perscription suggestion).
