New To Treatment,25 Years Old,from Asia

Hi all,

I am 25 now,i find i have some problem with my crown at about 20 yrs old(not so sure),but my hair loss is not very aggressive i think. Few month ago i find my crown become more thinning and problem also start at my hairline.I start taking generic finasteride only(called Damocare from Korea,1mg finasteride) at early of June.Maybe shedding is not stable everyday i think,but quite stable when i wash my head i find about 10-20 hair on my hands(just a rough number).Still early of my treatmeant, so i don't see any improvement.Maybe i will try minoxidil after 6-9 month if i don't see any result.Also,dutasteride will be considered if no result after a long period.Welcome to discuss with me,thanks!Sorry for my bad english.

Your plan seems reasonable. Probably wait with adding minoxidil until you've been a full year on finasteride.

Hoping for nice result,if it can stop my hairline recession,and some regrow in crown,I will be very satisfyied.

Some update,I have noticed extra hair shedding since last week,and more hair which is thin at the end,not always realise this type of hair before.Hope this is good,since finasterise doesn’t have shedding period in officially.Do many of you guys suffer shedding period from finasteride?

Do you guy suffer smelly from scalp,I am not sure my scalp is oily,but I really start to realize some smell from my head.Also I have found I have more head sore than before.I just started use sebizole shampoo about two weeks ago,2-3times a week.

Some update here,I have realised that fewer hair on my hands when I wash my head(about15-20 to 4-10),hope it can last!
