Hello I am new to this site and haven’t tried any of the mention products. Then I ran across this site and seems that you’re getting regrowth. I recently turn 50 and want to be more youth full, physically I am in great shape I spend at least 14 hours a week in a gym. I always thought there were no help and that I would just have to live with it will I don’t want to I’d like a fuller head of hair. I tried the Hair Club for Men but did not like having to have it glued to my scalp and all the other BS. Now I want to hear for guys like me that have found things that have worked not commercials just the true hard facts. Again thanks for any advice, help or sharing your stories of success or failures. I wish I would have found this site years ago. One other thing how long before you actually start to see any result.

What Norwood are you? If you've been NW6 (basically bald) for years then the chances that treatments will work for you are smaller than if you've only just started to bald. The best results I've seen are in people with diffuse loss (rather than completely slick areas).

I looked up the Norwood scale and say I am a 4 started thinning in my 30's and a gradual in the temporal then frontal and crown no accelerated loss just a steady progression the last 20 years. I am in in excellent health exercise regularly have never smoke and not much of a drinker. I just started the Rogaine and going to take finasteride. I am on look to have the same hair line that I did when I was 30 but a modest gain would be nice. I thought of hair transplant but have seen so many horror stories that I am not sure if I want to go that route. I’d like to try to see what type of gain I would get from taking the big 3 first and see how that works. What is the typical time line before you can see any regrowth?

I give it to you straight,
TBH there are no real treatments that work for recession. The hairline is the hardest place to regrow hair and a 50 yr old NW4 certainly has the odds stacked against him. Treatments work best for crown thinners. Thickening up density and maintaining are about the best they do. 9months is the recommended time to compare before/after treatment pics. There are no miracle cures in hairloss it does'nt go or regrow in a matter of weeks.

Get FUEs from a reputable hair transplant doctor and you should have nothing to worry about.
