its me, bij, my son is getting his high end salon piece placed on tomorrow, omg i am pissed because, i think i posted that i found a local man who seems to know his sh*t after being on this website. anyhow, he's in already $1,800 contract wise. paid in full ......then found out way too soon, that this man does the same thing, but better hair systems...my stomach is in my throat. here is how this goes, after paying $$$, we are changing salons, and at that time, gotta order another piece, because the one he's getting only will last 4-5 weeks, this other salon, "jim" told me what a shame! he says his will last 6 months, it's all about what you are sold.
first time tomorrow evening that i'll see my son restored with confidence and integrity, self esteem, etc.
i wish that this other salon, he's been in business with men's hairloss .....advertised!! so we sunk $$$$ just for tomorrow's hair, so to speak and have to go to the next salon because it takes 6 weeks to get the new piece. what a mess, but i have the chance to rant on because you're all in it one way or another.
another topic. ... look at my topic under the misc. intercourse site, my hubby is a fantastic diagostic on cars....he may be able to help. we get calls all of the time, he's just darn good at it. must sign a waiver...lol..yet, trying to help. he already knows about the 02 sensor problem with one gentlemans car, yet needs the model, and we got the year of the car and yes, only needs a wrench!
luv ya all

i'm replying back to myself! lol....been a long long long day yesterday with the high end salon, first off, the template was completely way too big, then the veralex system was curly, not straight, so therefore the sytem was chemically relaxed....so 2 procedures where already done on the system before putting it on, with only tape, no adhesives, hold back on that stuff! long story made short, the system, we went today, to a local salon AMEN, and he said the reason the piece was way too big and and curly, not straight because it was a stock piece! freaked me out, and they preached a bit of fear in him about how it will fall to pieces in 6 weeks and com'on, just sign here for upkeep. we left and he was satisfied yet, sunk so much money in that place. they actually said, welcome to the family! duh?
today,1 day after last nite's dilemma, we went to the local man, so cool and had to put the good tape on, showed us every single thing about maintence, on our own, simple, not complicated and said that his system he has now will last near a year, because, he doesn't believe in glue on top of the scalp, he believes in a good strong tape and take it off 2 times a week, showed us how to clean and maintain, no contract needed.
he's been in this business for 38 years and went from the old way to the new way, shaving the top of head, etc.
what a difference one person made........my son is still in shell shock ...yes, not hats and this good man gave me a in depth course, he's not trying to steal people of what was stolen off of them. amen.

how can somebody try to make money of someone's misery.

You and your son sound as if you have been through hell and back.

I think an exellent hair system can be totally undetectable, the actor ray liotta wears one and looks great.

hairloss does it your self esteem hard,i myself have been very ,very depressed about it for the past 12 months.

i really hope you and your son have better luck in the future and that everything turns out better for your son

Hi Antonio

How do you know Ray Liotta wears a system? If he does, it is certainly an excellent one.

thank you sooooooo much for the kind words.. sometimes it helps more than one could ever know. but what about you, do you have any options? yes, i've been depressed over the issue with my son for months now and it will go on, because it's not his god given hair, someone made it and taped it, you know what i mean? on going.

seems like we all should be perfect and blend right into this crazy society we live in, yet everyone has there skeletons in the closet. my gram told me when i was a teenager and it stuck with me, when you think things are bad they can always get worse.

i'm feelin for ya

thanks for asking about me,i myself had perfect thick hair up until 12 moths ago,i have not receded much but have diffuse thinning, which to be fair is not at all noticable when dry but when wet looks awful and is upsetting because i have always had super thick hair.

i wish i could end the pain you and your son are in because i would not wish this on my worse enemy.

does your son feel uncomfortable wearing an hairpeice ,if he does i will give a list of famous people who wear hairpeices and are considered very good looking

john travolta, ray liotta, matthew mconghey, sean connery, and many more that will never reveal that they do.

don't listen to my first experience, i'm a beginner at this and of course everything went wrong. i didn't do my homework and jim, the cheap salon took the piece and it took him ten min. to get all the glue and tape off, experience, and we had a real mess going on. he makes it look so simple...washed and conditioned the hair and put red liner tape thank goodness on the piece and a stronger tape to the scalp .....now i'm gonna order some more red tape.

thank you so much for the offer mich, i wouldn't feel right taking your tape, but what are you doing now if your not using tape?

antonio, go for the interview, you are not alone with hair loss. yes, girls are girls and they'll say anything, insensitive. let it go and move on.
the transition of you having a beautiful head of hair to losing it has to be one of the toughest damn things.
i do think you oughta look into the hairsystem, i'm learning more after i fucked up a few times.
let me know if ya went and what happened. wishing you were dead is your last resort, only!

always here for ya
