I'm 17 with no family history at all. You can look at my previous posts to see if I've progressed. I feel like my hairline is nw0, nw1 at worst but I can't seem to think I'm not thinning.

All pictures besides the last one are damp hair, the last one is fully dry.

Is there any test I can do for thinning? I think I have naturally fine - medium hair so it could just be that.
All photos are with heavy flash (last one is in front of an open window)

I get that it's hard to relax but with no history you shouldn't worry much, like we've said before your a solid nw1 right now.

It sucks cause I don't think it's changed since my original worries back in November, yet I still constantly worry about every single hair I see.

Keep in mind, most people do not keep their hair from their young years, so most people should probably expect some kind of hair difference from when they were 12, 15 or whenever.

You have solid hair and you will keep it (with 99,9% confidence) if your father and maternal father did.

Dude I know....I've been doing pretty good and started getting that dreaded anxiety again today. Others have told me like they told you there's nothing to worry about....atleast you have great family history so why worry? Your dad and both grandpa's are good. You shouldn't need to worry. You've got great hair

If you wanted to post pics of your dad and grandpa's, so we could see how the hairline look compared to yours and then we can tell you all you need to hear. But as of now your hair looks great as it should for somebody your age....

Yeah my father more than kept it lol. His hairline is as close to juvenile as it gets for a 50 year old and it's extremely thick. Maternal GPA is the exact same at 80, just slightly less on the density side.

So why are you even worrying?
It's BDD lol. The only member of my family that has history of balding is my maternal grandmothers brother. My uncle doesn't have hairloss, my grandmother didnt, neither did my aunt or mom. So It's really unlikely that I bald but I still constantly worry about any little thing

Any other opinions on the line or the density?

I looked again at pictures, great density man, nothing to worry about, hair looks really great and with no history at all, you can easily logoff and enjoy, put your mind to rest.

Last bump. Want a few more thoughts before I (try to) get off this site for the time being. Can (and will) include additional pictures if necessary.

Let's put it this way. I'm not losing hair and I would change mine with you any day of the week. :)
