Norwood 2... on one side

My hair seems a bit weird, I noticed hair loss 5 years ago at the age of 23, taking down my left temple. I thought I'd noticed thinning along rest of my hair, so I got on proscar within the next cpl months. Well here we are 5 years later, my left temple has been eaten away completely I'd say giving me a Norwood 2 on that side, everything else is in tact tho. So basically I have a widows peak on only one side of my head giving me a very uneven hairline. I can style it forward to give coverage so i'm not in panic mode, but I can't do things i'd like to do like buzzing my hair down because it's just so uneven.

How common is this, is it only a matter of time before my right temple gets hit? I can't even say that'd be too bad, at least I'd have even hairline. I was considering a fut with Dr.Rahal, but I might wait a bit for fue to become better so i don't get stuck with a scar. I'm in the military so the back of my hair must be short, so if people noticed I'd had a hair transplant I'd probably never hear the end of it.

You can't really predict what will happen, the other temple could go, but that could be 10 years from now for all you know. Anyway Norwood 2 really isn't that bad (Although I can see why it may look a bit uneven) - You could try minoxidil on that temple to try and regrow a bit?

Either way, you're in the military, a NW2 only on one side, keep your hair short anyway, presumable over 25? Not a big problem in my opinion. You'll probably have a good head of hair for years.
