I too have receded temple points and I feel that this definitely exaggerates the look of hair loss and works against the theory of framing the face.
I saw your post in a different thread where you provided photos. I believe that the temple point design that you drew on was too aggressive and when you mentioned density, with single hairs that would be necessary in this area, natural should be preferred over density.
Have you consulted with any Drs regarding your temple point loss?
Mine were poor to begin with too. Feel the pain.Some people lose allside hair some don’t . If Brian Stelter wore a hat you’d think he had s full head of hair because of temple points . I never had any temple points even as a child
